The VICS Mission
Veterans in Community Service provides programs and services for homeowners, house renters, apartment dwellers and other residential households in Southern California.

VICS services include minor home repairs, weatherization, home energy assistance, veterans affairs, lifeline telephone service, solar energy systems, installation, environmental measures and consumer education programs.

Communities We Serve

VICS receives operational resources from an array of government and private sector sources. Households within cities and unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County benefit from VICS services. Although any city or County unincorporated area is eligible for services VICS programs are primarily in the Pomona area, San Gabriel Valley, the southeastern portion of Los Angeles County, Long Beach, Los Angeles and many incorporated neighborhoods.

The Future

Future planning involves steady annual growth and development as VICSdevelops new programs as a non-profit-organization and in the future a for-profit-company. Expanding VICS services is in the planning stage for energy conservation measures to include solar technology and energy saving systems for residential and business clients. Development within additional California cities and counties is planned. Also, VICS will expand and grow beyond its traditional territorial domain. VICS anticipates private business and government agency growth in California and other states of the nation.
