VICS reaches out to groups and organizations and volunteers with assistance. VICS has a history of community outreach and is recognized for its involvement in charitable activities. A list of these organizations are as follows:

Veterans:

The American G. I. Forum (AGIF) is a national veteran’s organization supporting military benefits and civil rights. VICS original founders were GI Forum members. VICS has a relationship with local state and national AGIF Chapters allowing the use of office space, telephone and Fax, communications equipment and support services for business meetings.

Scholarships:

A scholarship program was established for veterans and family members. VICS awarded its initial scholarship to a highly decorated Iraq/Afghanistan veteran. Additional scholarship awards will be offered to veterans enrolled at local colleges and universities.

Government Activities:

Annually VICS joins leaders from business, government and charitable organizations to discuss national issues with Congressional members in Washington D. C. VICS also meets regularly with legislators in Sacramento and locally with city and county officials.

American GI Forum

The American GI Forum (AGIF) is a veterans and civil rights organization advocating and supporting veteran’s benefits and civil rights. Professional Management Association of Atzlan (PMAA)

Society of Professional Hispanic Engineers (SHPE)

SHPE is a national scientific organization offering services and programs for professional engineers. SHPE promotes the engineering profession through national and local conferences, workshops, newsletters and seminars. Student programs include college job recruiting and scholarships.
