Mr.
Cuevas is the latest member appointed to VICS Board. After receiving
an AA degree from East Los Angeles College he joined the US Army
serving in Korea and Vietnam. After military service he entered Cal
State University, Los Angeles receiving a degree in business
education.
He
began in the insurance field but later accepted a position with the
Los Angeles County Assessor’s Office. He
moved up the ranks to become a Principle Assessor and retired after 34
years of service. He is a member of the American G. I. Forum and other
non-profit organizations.
